IranOpen2008 and IranOpen2009

    Iranian RoboCup National Committee (IRNC) is officially announcing that interested applicants from universities, institutions, or private organizations may apply to organize IranOpen2008 and/or IranOpen2009. Interested applicants should send a complete and detailed proposal for organizing both or either of the events. Proposals will then be reviewed by IRNC and the best proposal will be announced as the organizer of the event(s).

    Proposals should be sent electronically to "proposal at iranrobocup dot org" as Portable Document Format (PDF). Proposals can be written either in English or Farsi. IranOpen2008 proposals should have been sent by 6th of November, 23:59 (Tehran local time). IranOpen2009 proposals can be sent until 20th of February (2008), 23:59 (Tehran local time).

Please bear in mind that the least conditions that must be fulfilled in your proposals are as follows:

• Detailed schedule for atleast 7 working days at the competitions site
• Access hours to the competitions site
• Atleast 12000 square meters of usable space at the competitions site
• Details about participants accomodation (approximately 2000 participants)
• Providing details about participants nutrition during the competitions
• Providing free high-speed (broadband) internet access for all participants
• Providing atleast 200 PCs and required tables for simulation leagues along with approximately 1000 seats
• Providing atleast 20 video projectors to show the games
• Full schedule and field plans of each league separately. The field plans should meet the standard RoboCup Rules.
• Providing trophies and awards for winners of the competitions (expect about 225 winner participants)
• Detailed plans for inviting RoboCup Trustees and Execs
• Detailed plans for inviting teams from abroad
